Dr. Robert G. Nelson possesses over 20 years of experience in marketing, business development, strategy, operations and program management and is Adjunct Faculty at the Stuart School of Business. Rob has served both as a private consultant and senior manager and executive, leading a dozen different organizations and multiple teams and projects for Fortune 30 and privately held firms including GE Healthcare, Quorum Health Resources, the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), and the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), Motorola and IBM.

Currently Rob is responsible for US the growth strategy of GE Healthcare’s IT Services business with an emphasis on consulting and analytics. Prior to this role, as Vice President & Practice Leader, Strategic Resources Group, Rob led the strategy and marketing practice at QHR Consulting, a wholly owned subsidiary of a Fortune 200 healthcare system, CHS. Prior he led global solution development for the Strategy Activation and Performance Transformation Practice of GE Healthcare's advisory business. Prior, he was Senior Vice President, Marketing & Strategic Business Development and Managing Director, Global Operations for AHIMA, where he served as a member of the senior leadership team with responsibilities for marketing, business development, sales, membership development, market research and customer service as well as AHIMA’s international operations including the Global Services Office in Brussels.
