    Stuart School of Business

    Business Administration

    The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration provides a solid foundation in business fundamentals along with a basic grounding in science. Business fundamentals include accounting, economics, statistics, finance, business law, marketing, management, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

    Students also take a business concentration that allows them to develop a depth of knowledge in a business area. Currently available concentrations are in Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing and Human Resources. Individualized concentrations can be developed to meet the special needs of a student.

    TECHNICAL CONCENTRATIONS

    Entrepreneurship
    The minor in entrepreneurship focuses on technology entrepreneurship. Students must complete two required courses and three elective courses.

    Two required courses:

    BUS 361: Introduction to Entrepreneurship

    One EnPRO of the student's choice

    Three courses from the following options:

    BUS 363: Creativity and Inventions for Entrepreneurs

    BUS 462: New Product Development

    BUS 465: Entrepreneurship in Industry

    BUS 466: Entrepreneurship in Science and Technology

    BUS 467: Growth Strategies in Emerging Enterprises

    Nonbusiness majors will be required to take a business fundamentals course in place of one of their electives.
