    Innovative Curriculum

A foundation in science and mathematics is at the heart of the Stuart School curriculum.  The focus on applied learning and your chosen concentration complement experience in other academic disciplines, creating workforce-ready professionals for leadership in the Next Economy.

    Hands-On Opportunity

Stuart School of Business students gain experience solving real-world problems through Entrepreneurial Professional Projects (Entrepreneurial Professional Projects (EnPROs) and Interprofessional Projects (IPROs), and the opportunity to work for start-up companies in IIT’s new business incubator.  Through these opportunities, students are involved with leading-edge companies helping to bring new ideas to market.

    Small Class Size

Small class sizes mean that your instructors will know you by first name.  Students work closely with faculty mentors and industry professionals who bring their professional experience and a passion for teaching to the classroom.

    DEGREE PROGRAMS

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration

The Stuart School B.S.B.A. offers concentrations in entrepreneurship, finance, human resources, international business, and marketing that enable students to earn a degree that matches their career goals and aspirations.

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Applied Science

The B.S.B.A. and Applied Science program provides students with the opportunity to combine their business education with concentrations in applied mathematics, chemistry, construction management, information technology, life sciences, material sciences, or mechanical engineering.

IIT's high standards insure that our students come with outstanding academic credentials and the ability to strongly contribute to one another's education through their time together at IIT. The various academic, social, community service and athletic opportunities at IIT enable students to interact and form life-long friendships with others who have excelled in their high school years.

IIT's location in one of the world's great business centers is another significant asset to the business program. Chicago hosts nearly 500 business headquarters representing the most diverse set of businesses in any city on the planet. This positioning provides regular access to outstanding business practitioners and a rich opportunity for employment both during and after the student's college years.

IIT offers significant merit and need based financial assistance with nearly 90% of our students receiving some form of financial assistance. IIT's financial aid program includes a wide variety of grants, scholarships, loans and work-study with counselors who are of enormous assistance in tailoring programs to meet an individual student's need.
