Full-time New Student Orientation
August 8-14, 2013
All incoming, full-time students are required to attend the on-campus New Student Orientation. For a detailed schedule, please visit: http://iit.edu/orientation. Please make special note of the IIT Stuart Priority Registration Days on August 8-9.
If you are moving to Chicago to attend school at IIT Stuart, you should plan to arrive in Chicago no later than August 8, 2013 to complete course registration and new student orientation.
Living in university housing offers students a wealth of opportunities for meeting new people, additional safety and security, and the convenience of being able to access both your classes and public transportation. If you have not yet made your housing arrangements for the academic year, we encourage you take a look at Residence & Greek Life's website and explore the options available and benefits of calling the IIT Main Campus your home-away-from-home!
Additional Information for International Students
As an international student, you will receive additional information from IIT's International Center regarding requirements you must complete both before and after your arrival in Chicago. You will be receiving more information regarding International Student Check-in and required on-campus testing for IIT Stuart's Professional Communication & Advancement program.
Please remember that attending New Student Orientation is mandatory for all new students and will contribute greatly to your success both at IIT and beyond. If you have any questions regarding orientation, please contact TR Traynor-Corey, Director of Student Engagement & Leadership at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to welcoming you!
