Opportunities in Management by Megan Six of Goby Inc.

Megan Six, Regional Sales Director at Goby Inc., will be giving a presentation on the opportunities in management on Thursday, September 29 in DTC Room 470 from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Megan is a management professional and she is a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature. Also, she has been working with Goby Inc. as a Regional Sales Director, Account Manager. She has expertise in marketing, leadership, social media management, marketing communications, customer services, etc.

Opportunities in Finance by Matthew Scharpf of Eurex

Matthew Scharpf, Vice-President, Business Development at Eurex, will be giving a presentation on the European Derivatives Market on Wednesday, September 28 in DTC Room 470 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Matt will explain the similarities and differences in Market models between the U.S. and European Markets to enhance students' knowledge of exchange traded derivatives products and the futures and options industry.

Students are encouraged register.

Opportunities in Public Administration by Michael Negron of City of Chicago

Michael Negron, Chief of Policy, Mayor's Office at City of Chicago will be giving a presentation on careers in public administration on Tuesday, September 27 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in DTC Room 470.

Michael has been associated with Mayor's Office, City of Chicago as a Chief of Policy for almost five years. He has expertise in public policy, policy analysis, politics, strategic planning, etc.

Opportunities in Analytics by Dan Lowman of Grenzebach Glier & Associates

Dan Lowman, Senior Vice President, Analytics at Grenzebach Glier and Associates and Director GG+A Philanthropy Survey Lab will be giving a presentation on careers in analytics on Thursday, September 22 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in DTC Room 470. This is also an excellent opportunity to network with Dan Lowman who has substantial experience and knowledge in the field of analytics and non-profits.
 

Transition 2 Work: Interview Prep

You have done an excellent job with your resume and have been selected for an interview! But are you ready? Are you familiar with how to research the company and the position? Do you have answers to the common interview questions? Do you know about Behavioral Interviewing? If you are serious about interview preparation and getting a job in the U.S., then you can't afford to miss this session on Thursday, September 15, DTC Room 470, at downtown campus from 3:45-5:45 p.m.

Career Pathways by Program: Careers in Finance with David C. Eidell of Merrill Lynch

David C. Eidell, Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch will be giving a presentation on careers in finance on Wednesday, September 14  from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in DTC Room 470. This is an excellent opportunity for students to learn about the various career opportunities available in finance.

There is limited seating and students who are interested in attending are required to register

Chicago Board of Options Exchange Educational Tour

The Stuart Career Management Center has arranged educational tours to the Chicago Board of Options Exchange (CBOE) on Friday, October 14 and Friday, October 28 from 10-11 a.m. CBOE is the nation's largest marketplace and you will encounter the fast-paced environment and engage in its rich history. If you are interested in participating in the 30-minute tour please register.
