Biography: 

Guenter Conzelmann is the Director of the Center for Energy, Environmental, and Economic Systems Analysis at Argonne National Laboratory and Adjunct Faculty at the Stuart School of Business. His research focuses on the development and application of modeling and simulation tools to study strategic energy and power sector issues, including energy efficiency of buildings, renewable energy integration, advanced conventional energy, smart grid implementation, and environmental impacts of energy production. Mr. Conzelmann is also leading Argonne’s Wind Power Technologies and Analysis Program and is actively engaged in Argonne’s smart-grid activities.

He is the author/co-author of numerous publications, including journal articles, book contributions, conference papers, and sponsor reports in the energy and power systems field. He is frequently invited to speak on these subjects at conferences, workshops, and training courses around the world.
