Admission Requirements: Non-Degree
Description: A non-degree student is any student admitted by IIT Stuart as a non-degree student, and who is registered as a non-degree student at IIT Stuart. International applicants planning to attend IIT Stuart on a student visa may not apply as a non-degree student due to immigration regulations.
Application: You may apply for admission as a non-degree student in any semester. We recommend that you submit your completed application and all supporting documents at least two weeks prior to the first day of the semester for which admission is desired. Applications received close to the start of the semester or during late registration may be reviewed on a space-available basis.
Please reference the appropriate application checklist for complete application and document submission instructions.
Admission requirements: Enrollment is limited to students who have already completed a bachelor's degree at an accredited institution and who have at least two years of work experience. Some programs may have additional requirements or prerequisites.
Enrollment: Non-degree students may enroll in a total of up to three courses. Non-degree students seeking to convert to degree-seeking status must complete the regular degree-seeking application for admission to a degree program prior to the completion of nine credit hours of study. Students enrolled in a non-degree graduate program who subsequently apply for admission and are admitted as a degree-seeking student at IIT Stuart may apply a maximum of nine credit hours of non-degree coursework passed with a grade of "B" or better toward the degree. Admission to a non-degree program does not guarantee future admission to a degree program.
