Biography
Russell Wojcik completed his Masters Degree in Math and Electrical Engineering at Clarkson College of Technology. He took his first job at Bell Lab's where he decided to make a career change and went to work at Merrill Lynch as a Quant/Programmer. From there as his career advanced, he worked at various Large Wall Street firms when in 1992 he went to London to Head up the Fixed Income Derivatives Desk for UBS Bank. In 1997 he went to Republic Nation Bank/HSBC to Head up the Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives Desks for New York and London. After retiring from HSBC, Russell went on to do consulting and trade his personal account. In 2004 Russell started teaching at IIT as a Lecturer in Finance and Trading Strategies. Currently, besides his teaching he consults at various Hedge Funds and Proprietary Trading Companies on advanced trading algorithms.
