Biography
Professor Hamilton teaches auditing, financial accounting, and managerial accounting. His professional experience includes auditing for an international public accounting firm and providing independent audit and consulting services. His primary research interest is in accounting education and the behavioral factors that influence audit judgment. He served as an Audit Standards Discussion Leader for the Illinois CPA Society. He writes about the teaching of accounting, including the chapter "The Auditor and Legal Liability" in Great Ideas for Teaching Accounting.
