Vision
The vision of the Harold L. Stuart School of Business at Illinois Institute of Technology is to develop and support a unique learning perspective toward the effective operations of private and public sectors. This approach is designed to facilitate the reduction of silo barriers among academic disciplines as well as among various academic fields and the society. This process supports our students in developing the necessary analytical, creative, judgmental, and interpersonal skills essential for success in the “Next Economy.” To achieve this objective, our core philosophy focuses on the leadership component defined as “Strategic Competitiveness” in a globally diverse economy which manifests itself across our curriculum in the attributes of creativity, entrepreneurship, incisiveness, innovation, leadership, and sustainability.
